International Radiological and Nuclear Training for Emergency Response (I-RAD)

The aim of this course is to provide radiation protection specialists, first responders, law enforcement, and emergency managers with the practical knowledge needed to effectively respond to a radiological mishap. Instruction is provided through briefings, equipment demonstrations, and field exercises employing a wide variety of radiation detection instrumentation, radiation sources, and Individual Protective Equipment (IPE)
