COURSE 29000 “DETECTION AND IDENTIFICATION OF WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION (CBRN MATERIALS) IN MARITIME INTERDICTION, WMD-MD-35660”

The aim of the Listed course is to educate and train students from the Military, Governmental, Law Enforcement, Customs services, and other related agencies in NATO practices and procedures regarding tactical dimensions of WMD in Maritime Interdiction Operations.
The curriculum of Course 29000 includes the following theoretical and practical modules:
(1) Module 29010 – NATO’s CBRN Strategy and MDO
(2) Module 29020 – WMD / CBRN Threat in MIO
(3) Module 29030 – Selected Aspects of VBSS
(4) Module 29040 – Tactical Site Exploitation/Evidence Collection
(5) Module 29050 – CBRN Protection, Decontamination and the Available Equipment in MIO
(6) Module 29060 – Detection and Identification of CBRN Substances in MIO – CHEM
(7) Module 29070 – Detection and Identification of CBRN Substances in MIO – BIO
(8) Module 29080 – Detection and Identification of CBRN Substances in MIO – RAD/NUC
(9) Module 29090 – Final FTX (Planning, Executing and After Action Review of MIO).

Students should have a CBRN background or attend NMIOTC Course 6000 before this course to fully utilise the potential of the course 29000.
