TOXIC BAY 2025 Final Planning Conference

1. The Hellenic National Defence General Staff, in cooperation with the Hellenic Navy General Staff, will host the 1st Naval CBRN Exercise “TOXIC BAY 25” at the NATO Maritime Interdiction Operational Training Centre (NMIOTC), Chania, Crete, GRC, from 22 to 27 June 2025.

2. The objective of the exercise is to train participants in all aspects of naval CBRN defence in a warm climate. The exercise is associated with exercise TOXIC FJORD and provides training in the management of CBRN events using NATO’s five CBRN enabling components (ATP-3.8.1 VOL I). Participants will understand how to organise and conduct CBRN training events using the CBRN Scenario Database (SDB). The entire CBRN defence organisation will be trained and participants should be prepared to participate in all levels of the CBRN scenarios that will take place. The SDB and documents of interest will be available shortly after the exercise.
