Consequence Management after a CBRN Incident Course was organized by the Joint CBRN Defence Centre of Excellence from 28 November to 2 December 2016.
The aim of the course was to introduce and describe Consequence Management after a CBRN Incident, NATO Crisis Management concept, organization, systems and procedures including Cooperation and Partnership initiatives in CBRN Crisis / Consequence Management to NATO & Partner Nation officers and their civilian equivalents.
Students (16 in total) were from BEL (2), CAN (1), GRC (1), HRV (1), ITA (8), SVN (1) and SRB (2).
The course included theoretical briefings, discussions and syndicate works. The group of lecturers consisted of ten people from eight different organizations including NATO HQ, Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic, US Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration, Austrian NBC-Defence School, US Defence Threat Reduction Agency Europe, Dutch Civil-Military-Interaction Command, Dynamis Inc. USA and Joint CBRN Defence COE.
Consequence Management after a CBRN Incident Course was evaluated by students as very useful course with great added value for their careers’ development.
