The JCBRN Defence COE organized the 4th CBRN Consequence Management Training Handbook Working Group Meeting in Vyškov, Czech Republic, 14 – 17 February 2012. The meeting was chaired by the CBRN NTG WG WT1 chairman, LTC Vratislav OSVALD, who also serves as the Director of the Training, Exercise and Education Department (TEED) at the JCBRN Defense COE.

Participants from four (4) countries (TUR, CZE, DEU and AUT) attended the meeting to discuss all relevant issues and comments made by nations in order to develop solutions for inclusion in the CBRN CM TRG Handbook. The aim of CBRN CM TRG Handbook is to provide guidelines for CBRN CM training. This document is designed for possible CBRN CM military stakeholders who are responsible for planning and conducting CBRN training, education and exercises. The CBRN CM TRG Handbook will outline the training considerations required to prepare for and respond to a CBRN incident.

The main goal of the 4th CBRN Consequence Management Training Handbook Working Meeting was to prepare the ratification draft of this document. The CBRN CM TRG Handbook ratification draft is prepared to be presented during the 36th annual NTG WG MTG in May 2012 in Ottawa, Canada, to start the ratification process.
